I received a PhD in physics from Texas A&M University, College Station. While working an engineering professional, I am also a physics instructor in a college in southeastern Michigan. Teaching is my passion. I tutor physics and math at high school and college levels.

Throughout my own education, I have been a true believer and faithful practitioner in Albert Einstein's adage: "Everything should be made as simple as possible, but not simpler." I'll apply this principle in teaching and tutor...

Frank was very helpful for my son and he was very thorough in his explanations. Frank is a very patient and kind tutor that will slow down or stop to answer any questions that you have. Overall, my son enjoyed working with Frank and we are very happy with this tutoring session!

I had to drop Calculus II the first time I took it due to Power Series. My second time around, no amount of prior knowledge or supplemental information seemed like it could stop a repeat of history. Thanks to Frank, I was able to break through the barrier and start learning both the foundational concepts and tricks to deal with extremely complex questions. He always gave very clear explanations and helped me keep moving forward. This kind of assistance was invaluable in preparing for my exams.

Frank is very adept at teaching multivariable calculus. For these past months, Frank has been teaching me multivariable calculus. In these months, I have seen a visible increase in my conceptual understanding and problem solving ability in multivariable calculus topics like triple integrals.
- Raymond N. from Clarksville, MD
Frank F helped me with optics (focal length, magnification), diffraction, and waves. He explained wonderfully and is super encouraging. I really enjoy lessons with him. Thank you!!
- Manju V. from Redmond, WA
Frank F helped me with projectile motion and we worked on scenarios with different planetary bodies, and how to find maximum distance a projectile would go. He also taught me about drag force and I learned a lot about comparing drag force based on air density of different planets. He explains hard concepts wonderfully and makes it easier to understand. Thank you!!

Frank has a very solid and deep background in mathematics. For these past months, Frank has been teaching me multivariable calculus. In these months, I have seen a visible increase in my conceptual understanding and problem solving ability in multivariable calculus.

Frank F helped me with wave optics problems. We solved for wave frequency and wavelengths. He explained constructive/destructive interference very well. We also worked on wave fronts and wave rays. Fun lesson!
- Manju V. from Redmond, WA
Frank F helped me with capacitors in parallel and in series. I understood how to analyze graphs of potential difference and charge of a capacitor much better, and he explained in a way that made me feel much better about Physics. We went over scenarios where we solved for energy stored in the system and the capacitance. Thank you very much!

Frank thought algebra 2 a subject that gave me trouble. Frank made it easy for me to understand the Formulas he was very fast with his response. He emailed me examples and what we went over. Frank was very detailed with explanations and I Will use him again. Thank you.
- Rachel K. from Pompano Beach, FL
The tutoring session with Frank was very helpful. He was knowledgeable, experienced, and gave me great tips to remember the physics equations needed for my exam. I was able to do well on my test, because of his guidance.
- Devi P. from Baltimore, MD
Frank F helped me with projectile motion and broke it up so we could do it step by step. What was super helpful was that he was very thorough in both the physics and calculus application and very knowledgable. Thank you so much!

Frank is a great tutor. He managed to explain the concepts of fictitious forces very well. Not only did he explain difficult concepts well, he is also very well prepared.
- Johnny L. from Arcadia, CA
Frank helped me work though a pack of practice problems for my physics class, and allowed me to gain a better understanding of how to actually apply physics formulas. I tend to struggle with physics, but Frank made it easy to understand.
- Luca S. from San Ramon, CA
Frank did a great job going step by step through the relationship of equations to each other. Does a very good job explaining where certain equations come from and when to use them according to the problem.
